We built Luma because fog ruins everything.

Mid-ride with your visor clouding up. Adjusting your dive mask underwater. Squinting through humid morning glasses. Fog is more than annoying, it is a safety issue. Luma Optics is an Australian brand focused on one thing: keeping your lenses crystal clear when it matters most.

From a foggy ride home to a real product

Luma started on a winter ride home, when our founder pulled over for the third time in twenty minutes to wipe a fogged-up visor. Off-the-shelf sprays either didn't last, smeared the lens, or weren't safe on coated optics. So we set out to make the anti-fog spray we wished existed: lasting clarity, a streak-free finish, and safe on every coated lens.

Three formulation rounds and a lot of Queensland humidity later, Formula v4B was born. It is now the same blend in every Luma bottle.

Every bottle of Luma is mixed, filled, capped and packed in Queensland. Our microfibre cloths are cut and the LUMA pouch is assembled here. We do not white-label someone else's spray; the formula and the kit are ours.
